Our "Not a Travel Agent" Philosophy
To maintain absolute integrity in our recommendations, Tailored German Vacations does not accept commissions from hotels, airlines, or tour operators.
Why this matters for you: Standard travel agents are often incentivized to book you into specific high-commission hotels. As your Travel Architect, my only incentive is your satisfaction and for you to have a great vacation. I provide the itinerary and the direct booking links; you maintain full control over your reservations, and loyalty points.
1. The Preliminary Briefing
Every great design begins with a conversation. We start with a complimentary consultation so I can learn your vision, interests, and preferred pace. Whether it’s an architectural tour of Berlin, a romantic proposal with a view of the Frankfurt Skyline, or a culinary deep-dive in Bavaria, this is where we define the "blueprint" of your trip. After our call, you’ll receive a recap and the invoice for my non-refundable booking fee. Once that is paid, you officially become my client and I begin planning for you.
2. The Curated Draft
After we’ve established your goals, I begin the research and logistics phase. The $100 non-refundable deposit secures your place on my planning calendar. Within 10 business days, you will receive a proposal, outlining the flow, key destinations, and logistics. This will give you a general feel. You will look it over and tell me if there are questions, changes or improvements you would like me to take care of.
3. The Final Handover
Upon approval of the proposal and final payment received, I "unlock" your complete, interactive itinerary. You’ll receive full access to our mobile app, including:
